How to Get a Fulton County Accident Report

The short answer
First, confirm which agency investigated — much of Fulton County is covered by city departments, not county police. Fulton County Police reports are available online through BuyCrash or in personat the Records and Reports office downtown or Police Headquarters, weekdays 8:30–5. Fulton County is the trickiest metro county for report retrieval — not because the process is hard, but because so many agencies operate inside it. Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, East Point, College Park, and Union City all run their own police departments, and Fulton County Police says plainly: “If another police agency responded to your incident, please contact them directly to request a copy of your report.” Start with the agency name on the officer’s card.

For crashes Fulton County Police investigated, the county points to BuyCrash — select Georgia, choose Fulton County Police Department, and search with your last name, the crash date, and the report number if you have it.
Option 2: In person at two locations
Per the county, both offices are open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and you should complete the county’s request form before visiting:

Check the agency name on the card or exchange-of-information slip the officer gave you. Fulton County Police handles unincorporated Fulton County; the City of Atlanta and cities like Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, East Point, and College Park have their own departments, and Fulton County directs you to contact the responding agency directly for its reports.
Where do I pick up a Fulton County Police accident report?
